Here at Music and Tour News HQ, we are delighted to be continuing our partnership with the amazing folk over at Modern Age Music to bring your our Song Of The Week series every Monday evening and we are thrilled to announce Luke Jackson’s single ‘Oh Channel’ as this weeks pick.
The track from the performer is gaining some serious traction within the UK having recently been played on BBC Radio 2 and it comes as very little surprise as the song has been expertly crafted by Luke and a wonderful team of music makers who have joined forces to make this as good as it possibly can be,
It has a haunting melody and production overlay that puts the spotlight on Luke’s grit filled vocal that is wonderfully executed throughout this song that is melodically pleasing and unique with a luscious backdrop that elevates the whole vibe to heady places putting the emphasis on the many facets of the performer’s artistry.
It’s an excellent offering from the on-the-rise musician and the way he expertly weaves in country music undertones throughout is a testament to his talent as a musician and ‘Oh Channel’ is a breath of fresh air as it delivers something completely fresh from what we’re currently hearing on the airwaves.
There’s no denying that Luke Jackson is supremely talented and with this latest release he is showcasing his tremendous vocal and song writing maturity whilst giving listeners something new to wrap their ears around in a music industry that often lauds songs that sound alike.
